Overview: We are seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of a primary residence for an expectational family. The ideal candidate will ensure the property is well-maintained, secure, and operates smoothly while managing various vendors, projects and events and building alterations. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Property Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the estate, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained and services are delivered effectively.
    • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with contracts.
  2. Preventative Maintenance and Reactionary Repairs:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all estate facilities.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
    • Manage landscaping, cleaning, and other routine services.
    • Oversee work to ensure adherence to standards commensurate with the estate
  3. Security 
    • Ensure the estate is secure and that safety protocols are followed by all staff and contractors.
    • Adhere to security best practices
  4. Household Staff Management:
    • Create staff schedules and manage payroll and performance evaluations.
  5. Budgeting and Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the estate’s operating budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
    • Prepare financial reports and provide updates on budget status to Principals, Family Office and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Proven experience as an estate manager or in a similar role with a strong construction background.
  • Knowledge of building systems, construction processes, and project management.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Position requires a comprehensive background check

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for estate events or emergencies.
  • Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks and supervise outdoor activities.
